First and foremost, surely regular vacuuming is the key. After all compared to low pile carpets plush pile attracts dirt, dust, and debris. And that causes them to become matted and compacted over time.

What are those?

To start, you’ll need the following materials:

  1. A carpet rake
  2. A stiff carpet brush.
  3. A vacuum cleaner.
  4. A steam cleaner.
  5. Some warm water.
  6. Some white vinegar and baking soda.
  7. Some clean towels and damp cloth.

First, begin by vacuuming your entire carpet to remove any and all loose dirt and debris. This is crucial to make sure of the other methods you’re gonna use to work effectively.

If you have high-quality carpets like mine, then you’ll find them responding really well to regular vacuuming.

When the vacuum round is done, sprinkle baking soda over your carpet. I left it for around 30 minutes so that it absorbs all the odors.

Cleaning experts say that baking soda helps in deodorizing the carpet and is safe for all carpet types, including plush and woven carpets. Sounds really great, doesn’t it?😃

Next up is the fiber right now. Rake the carpet fibers in different directions to lift and separate them. And it surely gonna be a little bit tricky to pull off.
